PropertyNorm was founded in 2026 as an independent real estate hallmark. We inspect and register per the PropertyNorm standard. The actual work is performed by associated craftsmen. Two roles, strictly separated.

80+ years of family craftsmanship as foundation.
PropertyNorm comes from the Van Helmont family. Four generations of craftsmen in Dutch real estate. That knowledge of what defines a good roof, chimney and building forms the substantive foundation of the standard.
PropertyNorm itself does not perform work. That is deliberate. A hallmark that also executes is no longer a hallmark. We inspect, register and connect to associated craftsmen who do the work. That way judgement stays separable from interest.
